DUROMASTIC SB-150

Duromastic SBE 150 is a medium viscosity versatile bituminous coating containing synthetic fibre and a special blend of solvent based bitumen. PRINCIPAL FEATURES - Very good resistance to water, mud, and most salt solutions. Very good adhesion to steel, concrete, asphalt and bitumen surfaces, provided suitable preparation is carried out. APPLICATIONS - Corrosion protection of metal exposed to salt water, mud and outdoor weathering, particularly for the purpose of under-sealing and seam sealing of motor vehicles and trailers. Resists cracking or chipping under vehicle vibration and impact from flying stones. Provides a degree of sound insulation to the vehicle or structure. - For the repair of roof leaks on metal, concrete or bitumen roofing, where rain is likely before complete curing. - Can be reinforced with fibreglass matting. COVERAGE Approximately 6sqm/ litre per coat. Two coats may be required to sufficiently cover the rust in situations where the rust is heavy. Note, specialist spraying equipment is required to apply by sprayer. A conventional airless sprayer will block, due to the fibre in this product. Best method of application is brush.
