4L 1019 Mirotone Paint Stripper

MIROSTRIP 1019 is a general purpose, solvent based, heavy bodied paint stripper designed for stripping most types of paint from timber and metal surfaces. Product Advantages - Ready for use - Apply by brush Typical Applications Removes most types of paint; nitrocellulose, precatalysed lacquers, alkyd paints, acid catalysed and polyurethane coatings. Application Methods: Apply a thick film by brush. Allow to stand for 3 to 5 minutes (most paints will bubble and wrinkle). Remove with a wide metal scraper. MIROSTRIP may be left on longer (10-30 minutes) for more difficult to remove paints. Sanding the surface prior to application of MIROSTRIP 1019 with 180 grit sandpaper can help the stripper to penetrate the coating. Ensure that all MIROSTRIP 1019 is thoroughly removed before coatings (sand with 180-240 grit sandpaper to remove residue). Application Equipment Clean Up: Clean all equipment using MIROSOL 1228 or 1231. Metal surfaces may be hosed down with a high pressure water jet wash.
